Stay Tuned!

I know we're just getting started but we are off to Mexico for a little R&R! Margo prefers the shade to a week in the sun so she's decided to stay with her grandma in Los Angeles. Stop by soon! Mexico photos are on their way!

Studded Ballerina Flats

Although we live in Los Angeles - a city where most people drive, not walk - I sometimes have these moments of clarity when I realize that a store or a cafe is only two blocks away and walking might prove to be a fun little adventure! So I threw on my favorite flats - the most comfortable ones I own.  I always get a ton of questions about where there puppies are from and as soon as I tell someone, they immediately assume they are not comfortable. I have had the BEST luck with shoes from Zara, not only are they comfy but they don't fall apart like other inexpensive brands sometimes do. Zara is a great go-to for shoes under $100 and if you haven't tried them, I would definitely recommend giving them a shot!

Mirror Prints

In addition to my obsession of color, I love any and all kinds of prints. I don't discriminate and love the striking combination of the two together. My latest print de jour however has to be mirror prints. Stella McCartney, D&G and Prabal Gurung are just a few designers who helped to put this look on the map this season. With everything from shirts to shorts, pants, dresses, pencil skirts and gowns, your options are endless. The symmetrical floral motifs boast a whimsical decadence and is a great choice for anyone looking to achieve a high fashion, on-trend look this summer.

Colorful Stripes

It's no secret that I am a lover of color. Not only color, but I love the polished look of a striped blouse or skirt. Combine the two and you get a rich contrast between sporty and nautical. Although I paired this with classic black on top, it's also fun to mix your stripes with a contrasting print. Try a fitted mermaid silhouette like the one I am wearing or for a more playful look, an a-line mini is super cute too!

Head-To-Toe Floral

A few months ago, I couldn't help but notice a trend in head-to-toe floral. Not only floral, but any monochromatic head-to-toe look has me head-over-heals! While I admit the look can air on the side of borderline overkill, there is something that is very visually captivating. Try teaming up your prints for a similar high impact look.

Neon Yellow

If you would have told me a year ago that neon was going to be as trendy as it is now, I would have said you were stuck in the 80's. But after seeing it on the runway this spring, I guess you can say I kind of warmed up to the idea and now, I can't get enough. In order to make any look really stand out, you need to energize your outfits with vibrant pieces! What better way to liven up an outfit with an ultra bright pop of neon! Even Margo's feelin' her new neon blue collar and leash.

Leather Lovin'

Kelly Green

While on an afternoon outing to Target for some puppy food, I was pleasantly surprised by their new concept - The Shops - which was introduced a few weeks ago. Instead of bee-lining for the door, I actually browsed picked up some super cute and affordable pieces that will easily become my Palm Springs summer staples!

Missoni Knit Continued

In preparation for our much anticipated adventure to Cozumel next week, I have been on the hunt for some eye catching pieces to wear while abroad. These wide leg pajama trousers were supposed to be for our trip but have easily become my new obsession. Seriously, I would sleep in them if I could...
